"Moutidis" is a family owned jewellery store based in Thessaloniki, Greece. The brand names comes from the family name and carries a tradition of 20+ years in the field. We were awarded with the challenging task to create a fresh, contemporary but timeless visual identity that would help the brand stand out in today's competitive market and evolve in the digital era with an online appealing presence.
Concept-wise, we aimed to find the most immersive way to bring the jewellery essence to the brand's logo. In this framework we used the letter O of the brand name to create an icon that would resemble a diamond ring. We wanted, the icon to be able to stand both independently as a logo mark but also part of the logo, creating that necessary connection with the brand's name that would help in the brand awareness process.
